Make your blog a book

Well, I have been thinking I would like to have my blog in a book so that it can be a journal or remembrance of this year. My friend Debbie posted this website on her blog called blurb.com. You can upload your blog and make a book. I have gone to the site and it seems great. I downloaded the software and have been working on making a book of my blog. The prices seem reasonable. I think it is a great way to capture all of these moments and have them for generations to come. I think I am going to make a book every year. This year's book won't be very big since I just started blogging in August. But it will be fun to have and read.

Have you found any blog book publishing sites?

I am going to look into this too. Thanks for the link. I was just thinking of running the pages off of my posts and putting them in sleeve protectors and into my scrapbooks.
Can't wait to see your post of the pumpkin patch!

AWESOME!!! I was thinking I guess I have to just print it out on my computer and stick it in a book since I NEVER keep a journal other than scrapbooks and little books with the cute things my kids are doing! I'll have to check into it!!!!

Hey I was just on that blurb site trying to make a book when I came across your blog. I can't get it to work. I get to the screen that says typepad or live journal and mines not either one, so what do you do? Can you help me please? ashandryan.blogspot.com

Hi, you don't know me, but I have been trying to do the same thing--and I started to google it and you popped up. (make my blog a book) and I recently went on to blurb and saw that they do not support blogger...so I was wondering if you'd noticed this or if you were able to get right on. Would you let me know? THanks

You don't know me either, but I've been trying to figure out the best way to do this. I have already been to blurb.com and to the site Christer already recommended (called Blog2Print). I tried both products. Blog2Print was fast and painless...but not very customizable. Blurb no longer supports Blogger (not since the last software update). They might get it next year but they aren't promising anything. I ended up still going with Blurb because I could customize it and make it the way I wanted it. I had to cut and paste each individual post and import the photos, but that didn't take too long. I probably spent 4-6 hours on 40 posts. Next time will be faster since I'll have my formats already decided moving forward.

Anyways, that's my 2 cents. I hope it helps someone.

www.blog2book.biz fills a gap in the market because they do all the hard work for you of customizing your blog ready for print, plus it is incredibly simple to use (and cheap!). You just give them your web address. The final product is library size (9" by 6*) which is also a great size.

Another great site that prints Personalized Children's Books is My Fairy Tale Books. They have the cutest books and personalized music cds
